Holding On to My Faith
Through all of this, I’m trying to stay prayed up and keep my faith in the Lord.
I feel like the devil wants me to stray—to let fear and frustration pull me away from what I believe. And I don’t want that. I believe Jesus is working things out in my favor, even when I can’t see how.
But I won’t pretend that trusting is easy when the rent is unpaid and a court date is getting closer.
I can believe in God and still feel overwhelmed. I can pray and still cry. Being honest about my fear doesn’t mean I’ve stopped believing. It means this is hard, and I’m bringing that hurt to Him, too.
Right now, I’m trying to put what I cannot control in God’s hands and be patient with what I cannot fix today.
