What is the legacy you want to leave behind?
Hey guys I hope your having a blessed day, this is a great question. Everyone who has been reading my blogs know I have 4 beautiful children and also a step daughter. I was a teen mom at the age of 17 years old, when I had my daughter I fell in love with her and my stepdaughter as well and right then I knew I wanted to protect them always. Now my grandmother passed away a little after my daughter turned one and it shocked everyone in my family because it was unexpected she was not even sick, but it took a toll on my family because she didn’t have a savings and they still had bills nothing was paid for, my papa even lost the house and it has not been right since. As I got older and had more children I knew I wanted to try and do more for them I just was not in a right place then I lost my great cousin and that was another blow to our family, she was an amazing woman she traveled all around the world speaking the word of God, she wrote a book and was a lawyer she was super woman in our family, but she had no savings all of it went to her cancer treatments and it devastated the family. We was trying to find a way to keep her house that she loved so much she only had a few years left on her mortgage payments; only a few years that’s crazy right but we never know when it will be our time and that is what drove me to work so hard, but working hard for a 9 to 5 job gets you nowhere. I started my faith journey this year and I have never been more motivated driven to do and be more for my kids because I want to leave them something that will help them when they get older. The first thing is knowing the word of God, the power of prayer, forgiveness, love and positivity because caring around anger, resentment, and a negative attitude or outlook on life will get you nowhere. The second thing is I want them to be baptized so they will be a child of god and have a possibility to go to heaven and the third thing is having a savings and everything paid for so they don’t have to worry about debt or losing anything Because life is hard work, patience, dedication, consistency, prayer and having faith and if your young you are really still trying to find yourself, I understand because I was that young person and I had a child who also depended on me so it was hard and I don’t want any of my children having extra stress on top of everything else and losing there parents as well.
