A Godly Role model.

I’m back again I know you had a great day, now you have time to sit back and read my blog thank you. This blog is for my parents so where, are my strong beautiful mothers and fathers? because this is especially for you. If you are new to my blog, you know that I’m a mother of four beautiful children and I also have a stepdaughter, but I have been going strong on my faith this year and I have did a lot of changes. I’m doing a 360 and that starts by changing my way of thinking, acting, talking and the music I listen too, anyone who personally know me no I don’t curse but that was never a problem it was the yelling and belittling that was the problem. I’m doing a change in my morning routine it’s still a working process but It’s getting there, and every morning I try and say, “It will be a great day”, I Listen to my Inspirational stuff on YouTube, pray either with my sisters or just by myself, I know it’s hard for people to change because change is very hard you have to really want it and have faith, there is sometimes I slip back and start yelling or get angry about things, but I then pray to God about it, because I want to be a good role model for my children and show them a better way. My children have not grasp that concept yet because they be trying to bring the devil out of me by arguing and fighting with each other calling each other names I use to just start screaming at them or ignoring them because it was just too much and I got tired of telling them the same thing but then I realized that children will have you switch your whole faith in two point three seconds Lol, where are those parents at?. I will feel good praising Jesus and then turn around and yell scream say mean things because now, I’m frustrated and that’s not Godly. God did say in Proverbs 13: 24 ” whoever spare the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them” so being nasty and saying ungodly things to them won’t help or get through to them, and I’m not saying don’t discipline I’m saying do it in a Godly way and if you don’t know how, pray about it. Now that feeling of wanting to scream and ignore them does come back every now and then but what I do I start praying and asking God for strength that I make the right decisions and say the right things because I’m trying to also be respectful and not put them down while disciplining. My mom always told me you will get more with honey and not with venom and that has always stuck with me because showing Kindness to any and everyone around you will always work out for you every time rather than if you’re always a mean and nasty person.

Life is always about taking chances and having faith and you as a person want to always be there for your children when they are sick, hurt, or just when they are happy, but we can’t be with them 247 so we have to let God do the rest and pray. Now we will never always be happy about the outcomes, because our children can still get hurt and sick some worse than others but everyone in this world was made for a purpose and God does not give us more than we can handle we just don’t have enough Faith so what we do we get worried, stress, nasty, and overprotective, trust me I been there, all I can say is take that leap of faith you will be and feel so much better.
